Guide Robotics' mission is to develop tools for optimizing industrial operations in logistics, construction and security, using cutting-edge computer vision technology and autonomous robotics algorithms. We aim to be the leading provider for indoor positioning and autonomous navigation for every industrial robotics area we serve globally, providing the highest performance at the best value.

BACKGROUND

Guide Robotics Inc. was founded in Tokyo, Japan in December, 2020 as the first SRI International spin-off venture outside the U.S.


We have licensed significant IP and source code related to Visual-Inertial SLAM technology from SRI International in order to develop our solution.


This Visual-Inertial SLAM technology was developed and field tested by SRI for more than 10 years under extensive funding from the US Government, providing a significant advantage to open source software based alternatives.
